You can announce your target, and skills you're using against the targets, and you can announce who you're following. What about picking up items and opening chests? I've often seen people run off to open a chest, and the other members of the party say "Get back here" or "don't run off". If he could announce the fact he's only going to open a chest, or pick up an item, there'd be no need for anyone to get upset.

I'm not really sure if it's worth it, but I think so for PvE.

That's a nice simple idea, pretty low on the priority list i'd have thought, but tagging it onto a patch might be worth it.

Yeah, I think thats a good idea, especially in the UW and FoW I usually see that there is an item thats been left and when I go to get it I have to explain to my team for ages why. I think it would be good it when your targeting chests if they showed up on your minimap, similar to the yellow circles around enemies.

Yes, this would be really helpful. Esp when trying to cut down on the "WHAT R U DOING?! LETS GO!!" messages.

very good idea, but half the time my groups dont like people running to chests so in some cases it wouldnt really help.. however i cant see any harm

Haha. i've been that person who's been shouted at many times.

People would still get upset though...people don't call targets in battle so i can't imagine them calling a chest.

I support this idea anyway.

I'd like to see it in too. So many people just focus on killing when you need to get that stuff for salvage. That's part of the game but it's always rush, rush, rush. And then they get mad at you for lagging behind. It would be nice to tell them what you are doing before they get all bent out of shape.

Myself? I just say BRB and run to go fetch it, and if they go off and die without fire support, so be it - if they don't die, I still get some loot anyways.

This is not helpful at all, but I've always been frustrated trying to control click chests and having nothing happen. Good suggestion.

Since the alternative is pinging the map, opening the chat, typing in "chest" and then having some guy ask: "what about my chest?", I'd say: hell yes.
